What is the best way to lose baby weight??

I just had y 1st baby on Easter Sunday(3-23-08) via c-section. I would really apreciate any advise you all could give me on losing the baby weight. I do have a bit of weight to lose. I have an apointment with my doc in about 2 weeks. I want to wait until she says its ok to start dieting, but I woul really like some advise...Thanks in advance.

    Yea, i had my son 2.17.08 and I was anxious to loss weight as well. he best advice to give is not to rush it. Breastfeeding helped out tremedously. Before I was preggo I was 118 before my labor I was 170 and now almost 9 weeks later I am 139. Dont excercise before 6 wks because your body isnt really up to it. If you want to excercise you can do Kegels *it will help with having sex the first time and everyone knows that sex is the best excercise!* After 6 weeks I suggest *if not breastfeeding* you do a 2100 cal diet and eat six small meals a day w/ moderate excercise for about 45 min 3 times a week. Also drink a glass of water or green tea during meals. If you dont like excercise (like gyms and weights) walk around your neighborhood with your little one either in a sling or in a stoller, carriage, etc for 30 min to an hour. Your little one would enjoy it and you can get a work out and fresh air. These small tips works for me I hope you can use then as well!!!

    I go for a 3 mile walk everyday with my two boys (im 15 weeks pregnant as well) and I lost 25 pounds just by doing that and eating 5 small meals a day (i had lost all my baby weight when i had my boys by breastfeeding but i was on the depo shot for awhile and it made me gain 25 pounds.) dancing also is a good way because it works your whole body.     Chalene Johnson is the instructor & she makes working out fun. I have a ton of workout videos & she is by far the BEST!

    Also try to walk 10,000 steps a day. It is easier than it sounds, especially if you have a stroller. Babies love walks!

    Be realistic w/ your diet too. Diets usually fail, so just try to stick w/ lean protien, whole wheats & grains, fruits & veggies & lay off the sweets.

    And WATER! Drink plenty, you can also get your water intake from tea, or add some Crystal Light to your water for flavor, it is really good.

    Dont be in such a hurry to loose the baby weight, it will happen, breast feeding helps alot. You dont want to be tireing you self out now. Just eat sensible, and take your baby out for a walk. After a few more months then try and be a bit more physical, your body has just been through a BIG ordeal let it adjust

    Yes I believe it does support considering that I have not been weight loss program or workout, however I've dedicated myself not to devour after eight:30 at night time, attempted to give up consuming chocolates, and no fried meals, and I have misplaced 31 kilos out of the forty that I won throughout my being pregnant. My youngster is four.five weeks historic. I'm surely NOT weight loss program and mostly I ought to pastime a ton in an effort to reduce weight.

    Breastfeed! I just had a baby in Feb and I breastfeed and it really helps you lose a lot of calories because they all go to the baby

    Well you have to burn more calories then you eat. if your not breastfeeding cut your calories to 1500 and start off slow on excersicing. try taking your little bambino for a walk in the stroller. watch your portions and eat lots of fruits and veggies. goodluck.

    fresh herbs can really zing up a healthy meal try growing some in the kitchen using a strawberry pot preserve the flavor by adding fresh herbs at the end of the cooking process
