Name of foals...suggestions?
We just had 2 colts born yesterday...
One is a black and white draft, mom's name Anastasia
the other is a tri-color, mom's name is Charity, dad is Lancer
*names need to be one word...and would like them to somehow relate to their mother's name or father's name.
Need some naming ideas.

b&w--I like Tuxedo, but that's not related. How about Orthodox, after the Russian Orthodox Church which cannonized the Romanova family. Or Romanova (Rome), Anastasia's last name. Also, Tsar (not Czar..For Russia/Russians it is Tsar--I am a history major and took a class on Russian history).
tri--Chance is nice, as others have suggested. I also like Melee (MayLay). Lancers were sent out first in battle, then men followed with sabres, which were used for the melee--the one-on-one battle, where people end up fighting as an individual against another individual from the opposing army. Trance. Fraternity (same ending as charity, means brotherhood, fraternities were originally secret organizations where the members dressed in hoods and robes and gave alms and aids to those in need. The idea was that it was to be secret so that the individual would not feel indebted to someone and would be more likely to accept the aid). Chivalry.
They sound adorable. Do you have any pictures of them that you can post for inspiration?

For the colt, Rome. Anastasia was a part of the Romanof (not sure if i spelled that right) dynasty of Russia, so Romanof, shortened to Rome. Or Nick, for Nicolas, Anastasia's father. =) For the tri-color, Prince, which goes with Lancer. =)

well, maybe Slader. Or Romancing the Stone. Call him Rome, or Romance, or Stone. Sorry, but these are the only good ones I have!
