Boys tend to have bigger messes.

A lot of people don't want to impose gender restrictions on their little ones, but girls and boys act differently and respond differently on a genetic level.

Girls focus more on faces, people (that's why they like dolls) boys like objects more (so machine-like toys are good for them) and this is true even at a very very very young age (like 6 months!)

Girls at the infant stage tend to cry less and be easier to calm where as boys tend to be very emotionally sensitive.

I have experience with both girls and boys (my nephew is now only 3 1/2 and ever since infancy, wow, what a hand-full!!!) But my daughter is just over 14 months and from infancy she's always slept through the night, never cried much, has always eaten very well, and took naps like clock-work.

Seriously, though, my husbnad was worried about raising a daughter because he comes from a family of mostly men (his grandmother had 4 boys who all had boys) so he didn't have any experience. But she's been a wonderful baby, absolutely perfect! If I was to have written a list of the things that I wished were possible in raising a baby she miraculously fills them all!

    Congrats to you..

Well I'm not a mother but I'm the eldest in my family. I have a younger sister and a brother. My mom is 37 I'm 21 my sis is 17 and my bro is 10. I love being a girl so when I was younger I was really exited to have a little sis. The girls are usually more passive and not so destructive. They usually follow the dad more than the mom. Boys well my brother is also passive but he is so close to my mom. I guess because my mom had two girls she was very exited to have a boy but with girls there is so much to do for the rest of your life. You get to brush their hair.. by pretty cloths for them.. when she gets older she will get her menstrual, etc.. so much bonding i think.. Overall in my opinion the only difference between a girl and a boy is really depending on their individuality. Some girls are passive some not and vise-verse with a boy.

I'm no docoter but like you I help my mom take care of my brother and sister and I still do. Boy's are more active, and rough. Girls are calm and more likely to get along. I could go on and on, but my advice is to just think about a few boys you know and how they behave and compare how girls do.

Everyone will have a different answer for this question... for one mother it may be that girls were easier to raise then boys and for another mother boys were easier...there is no real answer to this question...your little girl will have her own little personality. I'm sure you'll notice some similarities between her and your brothers...just because she's a girl doesn't meen she'll be less active or more active etc...Just enjoy it...every child is different...:) my daughter is very active and her toys are scattered everywhere....

They wear the pink diapers. :-)

Beyond that, there are statistical differences if you measure large numbers of girls and large numbers of boys (on average, boys move more, focus less, are less verbal, etc.). But those are only generalizations based on large numbers of kids. Any individual boy or girl is just themselves, and may be very different from "average." You'll find every child you raise is distinct, and it has much more to do with personality than gender.

i might want a woman, then 2 twins ( the two with distinctive genders) and slightly lovable boy on the top :) woman- Valerie Ann (13 years previous) Boy- Sami Joseph ( 10 years previous) woman- Samara lauren ( 10 years previous) Boy - Adam Nathaniel ( 2 years previous) the clarification i want 2 women is so as that they could relate and talk and have exciting as sisters and a similar with th brothers; have exciting, motor vehicle stuff, soccer ..etc.. and that all of them have exciting mutually
