Do a presentation that includes technology to help show them that you are capable of using technology, especially in the classroom--a power point presentation might be the best way to go.

Show pictures of the students working over time, hopefully you took pictures...especially for your portfolio! Also, show pictures of the classroom over time--how you decorated, student's work on display and more.

Stick in some of your goals that you've had throughout the year and explanations of how you've acheived them.

I mean, this is endless. It shouldn't be to hard if you are confident the students are on level, have been taught what they need to be taught and that they will continue being life long learners.

I know the first year is the hardest for almost any teacher, but that does not mean it gets easier. Honestly, if you don't feel you're cut out for teaching (you seem to not be very confident in yourself) then you should find a different career path.

    Good luck!

You don't give many specifics so.......First make a list of the major areas you have focused upon during your first year...your accomplishments. So, do an outline. Rank that list from the most important thing, to the least. Use this ranking for yourself to then expand beneath....ie..like an outline. You might supplement with examples of lessons you led, assignments you thought of to do in the classroom. NOW, make a powerpoint presentation of this (yes you should have started two weeks ago). Then talk yourself through the slides. You might want to provide handouts of lesson examples, things that would add strength to your presentation. Talk through the slides.....1 slide per two minutes of talking....don't rush. If you can do this in one Sunday evening you are good! (psych prof)
