Tax Rebate Checks????
Ok So I've read all the info about them and have seen all the news reports about it. According to everything that I've seen and read I qualify for the rebate but I haven't recieved a notice in the mail? Anyone else have this problem? And does this mean I'm not getting a rebate?
I filed my taxes before the checks were even ok'd through gov. I electronically filed with H&R Block and had them put my refund on a debit card. And also got RAL loan. If this makes any difference.

You will get a rebate regardless of the letter in the mail if you meet all the requirements. We got the original first letter and nothing since although not everyone has even received that. I'm sure since the IRS is starting to send out rebate payments on Monday by direct deposit, they will not have time to send out letters to everyone updating them on the amounts and day of the direct deposit or refund. But, since you did a refund through a RAL you will get your rebate in the mail not via direct deposit. The good news is that the IRS is going to start sending out payments to those getting paper checks starting next Friday so the time frame has moved up some at least.

There's only been one notice to go out and that was just for informational purposes only. Even those that did receive a letter may not qualify. So, really it means nothing.
The IRS website has a Stimulus Calculator to see what you should be getting.
If you got your refund through a RAL and/or debit card, the check will be mailed. The IRS site also has the schedule, just move the dates up a week.

I think everything has moved to fast to get the notices out like they planned. At this point rebates are all going out one week sooner than the original rebate calendar, so if you go to irs.gov and look it up by your social secuirty number, just bump that date up by a week sooner and that's when you should get it. Or just call you bank and ask if you got it providing your refund was also direct deposit.
PS I would not call the IRS and ask, you'll be on hold forever and I don't think they can tell you anything on it. It's too soon and they're focusing on just getting the money out to everyone.

The only notice I have recieved on these is the general announcement about the whole program.
This included link is the schedule in which we are to be paid if you qualify for it: http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180250,00.htm...
And again elligibility and qualifications:
