Go to the race with out a ticket and there will be people selling them all over outside the track. My friend got a better seat than I did last August for $40. I paid $120!! He sat of the frontstretch, about row 50 right at start/finish.

Well I know for $40 you can get a general admission ticket but that doesn't guarantee you a seat. Only if the person holding the reserved seat ticket doesn't show up then you can sit in a certain seat. It pretty much gets you in the gate and after that it is up to you to find a seat but you must move if the person comes and says that is there seat. You just call any of the tracks and they can send you tickets.

At most tracks you can find people selling tickets for less than face value outside the track or in the camping area when friends can't show up last minute. Craigslist is also good. You can almost always find Nationwide tickets at less than face value since most tracks make you buy both tickets for season ticket packages, and many people can't or don't want to go to both races.

A few weeks before the race you want to go to check out your local paper's want-ads. Or if you are from a small town you can look online at some larger newspapers & check their want ads.

You may have some luck on stubhub. Or checkout the tracks websites. Some have a place where people can sell their tickets. Bristol has a ticket exchange thing on theirs. And Atlanta has one through ticketmaster.

    Good luck, whatever you choose.

If you try E-bay last minute you can often get a great deal.

You will get someone that has to unload the tix in a hurry for some reason, and they will often have no reserve since there is no chance that they can make it to the event themselves. Just keep an eye on the sellers feedback. Make sure the person is worthy of trust.

try www.tracktix.com they will only allow people to sell at or below face value, plus shipping. Thats the way it should be. There are other face value ticket swap sites, just google them. Other than that, direct from the speedway, www.craigslist.org or newspaper ads are the best. I'm a huge fan of "face value" ticket traders.

check on e-bay. A lot of people buy their tickets then something comes up and they will sell them for less then they paid. Better to get some money back instead of nothing.
