1) The Marlins were a great story in 2003, but the wouldn't stand a chance against the Big Red Machine. The Reds are just too good.
2) I'd have to go with the Cubs. The Royals scored the second-fewest runs in the league in 1985, and I can't see them faring well offensively against guys like Mordecai Brown, Ed Ruelbach, or the awesomely named Orval Overall.
3) As much as I love the Jays, I'd have to go with that Mets team. They led the league in both ERA and runs scored, and I think they'd win both tight games or slugfests against my Jays.
4) Nice matchup - the Dodgers started 22-2 in 1955, the TIgers 35-5 in 1984. I'd have to choose the Dodgers, who had four future HOFers in their everyday lineup and an undervalued pitching stuff led by Newcombe and Erskine that led the league in ERA. And Clem Labine was a stud out of that bullpen, too.

1. Reds. Not even Bartman could save the Marlins
2. Cubs. Not even Don Denkinger could save the Royals from Tinkers, Evers, and Chance
3. Mets. That team always found a way somehow
4. Dodgers. If they beat the Yanks, they can beat anyone
