    I know this proves that I'm an uber nerd, but I remember this episode from the Flintstones:

    Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty are taking a trip and Fred says he wants to take a detour to the grand canyon.

    When they get there, it's nothing but this little trickle of a stream going by.

    Wilma says "Fred, this sure doesn't look very impressive."

    Fred looks wise and says "Yeah, but give it some time...."
