workout but no pains or aches?

i'm a 15 year old boy trying to lift some weights to gain strength and mass, whenever i do some new exercises, my muscles will ache a ton the next day, but sometimes, when i do like some arm excercises, like curls, i feel no ache in the day after my workout, sure, it aches a ton after the workout, but a few hours after it feels fine ( i thought something was wrong, so i increased my weights, but i got the same results). whereas, 3 days ago i did dumbbell flys for the first time in my life, my chest is still aching as a result?

any idea on whats wrong?

should i increase my weights, change exercises or what?

Aching is to be expected... the more you work out, the less you notice it... your muscles just aren't used to that kinda stress... they'll adapt!

    There is nothing wrong.

When you first begin to exercise a specific muscle it will ache afterward upwards to a couple of days. The next time you exercise that particular muscle it won't ache nearly as long (although it is still building). After you are well into your workout, you will not get hardly any aching. But that doesn't mean you are not building. Your body is just used to the exercises by now and doesn't give you the aches.

There is a lot of scientific discussion of this, and also of various supplements which tend to reduce the ache (such as creatine). You may want to visit http://www.bodybuilding.com/ and read some of the articles there.

aching is perfectly normal...when you lift weights you break down your muscle tissue and then it rebuilbs itself back up stronger, so it will be sore (this is why you don't lift weights 2 days in a row, for recovery time)

but hey, if you're arms don't ache...maybe that muscle group is just more used to the work, it doesn't mean that they're not getting stronger. don't complain if your ache free the next day!

When you work your muscles out, you put them into a catabolic state and they have millions of micro tears in them. That is where the soreness comes from. When you dont ache or have soreness, you didnt work them hard enough. Upon completion of your workout you should always consume Protein in some form, to put your muscles from breaking down in a catabolic state to absorbing and building back up in an anabolic state.

because you're merely starting up out, you should be operating your way as a lot as exercising on a daily basis. Your body is hurting for a reason - it is telling you to relax so your muscular tissues can heal. do a touch straightforward stretches in the present day and attempt strolling day after today.... initiate the different day until eventually you may deal with that with out being sore, then you actually can upload days.
