What is your opinion on this newspaper ad?
This is copied and pasted word for word out of a semi local online paper in my area. The number is xxxed out so nuts won't call and harass them. What do you feel/think when you read this?
Puggle pure breed. 5-6 months old female. Looks like pug, fawn color, up to date on all shots, has not been spayed, excellent with children. $200 OBO. Greenville, SC. 864-xxx-xxxx.
I'm not looking to buy it, just wanted to know your thoughts after reading it.

Puggles are not pure-bred. They are a mixed breed. I'd stay away if I were you. They are asking way too much for a mutt.

Pretty cheap for a pure breed. Find out if there are papers to back up the breed. Also, I would get a vet to check the dog out. There may be a hidden physical problem that the owners aren't revealing. Heart problems are common in puppies, also hip displasia.

Opinion on what? What they are trying to con people into thinking a pug-beagle mix is a pure bred dog?

Puggle aren't "pure breeds" they are a cross breed of a Pug and a Beagle. This person has no idea what they're doing, I call BYB. Go to a real breeder please.

ha ha ha.. I feel sorry for all the idiots who will fall for this one. The sad part is, the owner probably thinks she's a pure bred... darn BYB's and puppy mills!!

LOL!!!!! My first impression is that the poster is an idiot. A puggle is not a pure bred dog. I think someone doesn't know what they are talking about.

I would say that the people are trying to put limited information into the ad to save money. I am sure they would provide more detailed information over the phone. Ads are expensive.

Actually if I liked dogs that big, I would buy it. But it's too big to suit my fancy.
