Theres no medical reason for this, it just as they relax they drool with happiness. Of course if your cat is old and has had some teeth removed over the years then drooling does rather become more of a everyday issue but i have never known it to be a problem.

Have you ever had a massage and started to drool? Humans and animals start to drool when something feels good. So next time she drools just know that she likes it. Make sure she is purring, if she is she loves being stroked.

Because she is enjoying your company and is glad of the attention. Its like sometimes when we have slept good we drool. Its weird and wet but cute!

i think they do it to show they enjoy it. My cats also do it. It must mean they are happy and relaxed! Have you ever given your cat some dried catnip? That makes some cats happy n drooly! They love it!
