250,000 and up, yes clinton would increase those tax payers, but thats on actual income, and not like before deductions, so thats the top wage earners, 75,000 is just ridiculous!

If you bother to look up the financial history of the US government, you will soon learn there is no such thing as "cut spending". These words are not in their vocabulary, and not understood by anyone in government.
Now, "raise taxes" is a message understood by all, and will be the answer to all ills facing the country.
This phoney tax cut put into effect by Bush, only helps the already wealthy, because he also cut the amount of money given to the individual states, thereby causing the states to raise all forms of revenue to satisfy their needs, because they too don't understand the concept of less spending. So, in the long run, our taxes actually went up.
Another good read, regarding "pork barrel" spending, is the history of the money the government was supposed to give to rebuild the homes in Homestead Fl, from the hurricane damage, where there were millions of dollars added on to the relief and rebuilding bill, well, the pork barrel projects are all done and paid for, but those in Homestead Florida are still waiting and haven't received one dime.

I agree with the polls. The only problem is when the few don't like the voters decisions they find a super liberal judge and file a suit in hopes of getting the voters overturned. The reason this doesn't work on a national basis is the only way for change at that level is a Constitutional Amendment. Control of the money means lots of power in Congress. Only a few would vote to limit their power. Also, the individual States are used to getting large sums of money from the Feds and may choose to not pass a Constitutional Amendment that will mean the money will no longer come from the Feds. Getting 38 States to approve the Amendment will be very difficult. The above reasons doesn't mean we the people should not do everything we can to force Congress to do this.

Why not leave taxes where they are,and create an economy where people make more money, creating more tax revenue for the government AND business.Seems simple to me.If more people make more money the government doesnt need as large a percentage to get by,but as long as we have trade agreements such as NAFTA and the trickle down theory of the republicans, people in america will continue to have substandard wages, and as such wont spend money to make business owners profit.I think they have it exactly backwards. As long as we continue with our current economic policy,we need to rasie taxes. If we went with my plan,it wouldnt be needed. But who am I??just an average guy in Oregon.Perhaps one day I will run for office.

I don't particularly believe any of the candidates but cutting government spending is the best option for the taxpayers.
$75,000 is firmly middle class, the very class that has been struggling as late. It would be silly to raise taxes on the working or middle class at this time unless and until all other options have been exhausted.

Hillary says cut government spending, this means all unnecessary spending. If Obama want's to cut taxes this is good too.
I don't know who to believe.

It is necessary to do both. Clinton also intends to raise taxes on people making over $250K. It isn't a question of who you believe, its a question of keeping the country from going belly up.

Cut government spending, but there's one thing wrong with your question. Hillary won't cut spending, and has already promise to raise taxes. If you support low taxes and cutting government spending you will do well to vote for McCain come November.

Obama - The wealthy liberals supporting Obama knows it is right and have no problem supporting Obama.
Hillary always lies. I think a lot of pork barrel spending is in her trunk of her pants suits.

If the dollar continues to tank, neither will matter.
If we remain dependent on foreign oil and fail to build our industrial base, the dollar WILL continue to fall.
If the Fed prints money like there's no tomorrow, the dollar will fall FASTER.
The only candidate even discussing these issues is Dr. Ron Paul.
