Typical Yankees fan behavior?
Does this woman typify the average Yankees fan?
I hope you all know I'm asking this tongue in cheek, and not taking cheap shots at Yankee fans.

I understand your opinion about yankees fans and many peoples opinions about yankees fans but let me make this LOUD and CLEAR....ALL YANKEES FANS ARE NOT THAT WAY! Those fickle fans who act like they know everything and when they lose in the playoffs switch to being redsox fans. THOSE are the types of fans that would get into this kinda fight over which team is better. The REAL yankees fans dont need to fight because we know our facts and we know how to prove any point about the yankees that we may need to! So dont judge yankees universe based upon 60% of fickle fans. Base it on the about 40% that actually gives a damn outside of winning!
EDIT: This was not against Craig S. or anyone who answered this question but more directed to the people who think us yankees fans are all people who just like winning.
Hope no one took offense by this answer(hopefully the "yankees suck" people did though)

Wow. I hope not, because that is one crazy *****! Clearly, that woman has issues that go beyond a simple sports rivalry. I've known plenty of obnoxious Yankee fans in my time, but that is a bit extreme, even if she was "just trying to scare them". Fans come in all shapes and sizes, but with the abundance of Yankee fans everywhere, there are bound to be more of those who would be considered "unstable".

This woman was drunk. (period)
She was in a heated argument with a younger man that she felt superior to and was just waiting for a chance to become even more angry with him. This chance came in the form or a comment made on her bumper sticker. She was obviously very loyal to the team and this furthered her anger. But this was just coincidence. If the man had made a comment on her children or her occupation she may have exploded just like this.
I feel ashamed that this woman made the attack based on the comment on her bumper sticker. The fans of this team are not all like this, certainly not to this extreme. And by this article being published, people's opinions about the fans are swayed, whether justified or not.

I am a tremendous Indians fan and consider me, I am no longer crying. I nonetheless hate the Yankees and don't forget sorry *** Yank Me lovers crying whilst the Indians kicked Yank Me butt everywhere NY in that 22-zero ancient rout of a "recreation." You speaking approximately the ones identical Indians? I am crying so difficult that for those who exhibit your face at Jacobs Field I will - with complete diabolical glee - push you over the CF wall and no longer name the paramedics whilst all of us watch your brains - or what passes for brains - ooze down into the bottom at Grady Sizemore's toes.

I am going to have to say that she may just be a little on the extreme side...as soon as you decide to use your car as the weapon to show your loyalty to your team by hammering into people you have officially crossed the line from average fan to raving lunatic!
What ever happened to the good old days of keying a car or slashing a tire?

She is far from the typical Yankee fan but closer to the typical looney nutcase

Umm no. She displayed the typical behavior of the average madman (woman)/murderer. Baseball isn't the real reason here. Mental issues deeper than we can understand is the cause for this mess.

I think the Yankees should boycott the season and blame it on her, see how well she does in prison

No, that is definately to the extreme. It is pathetic that she had to end someone's life becuase they liked rival teams. That should never happen. Such a sad story.
