Which of these recently retired players will make the Hall of Fame?

Mike Piazza - yes

Larry Walker - no, but it's hard to argue with a .313 lifetime average.

Edgar Martinez - no, but see note on Walker

Biggio - yes, 3000 hits still gets you in

Rickey Henderson - yes

Palmeiro - probably. If it was just the home runs, I might say questionable because of the steroid cloud, but he also had 3000 hits. McGwire could not get in on the first try with all of his home runs.

Bonds - yes despite the steroids

Sosa - This is a tough one. If McGwire ever gets in, Sosa should get in.

Clemens - again, the steroid cloud makes him not a sure thing

John Franco - 424 saves, 4th all time. But still no.

McGriff - no, because steroids cheapened home runs

Bagwell - no for the same reason

Roberto Alomar - not sure, probably no

David Cone - no

Bernie Williams - no

Kenny Lofton - no

David Wells - at 239 wins, has more than Hall of Famers lWhitey Ford, Catfish Hunter, Don Drysdale, Waite Hoyt, Jim Bunning, Bob Lemon, and Hal Newhouser. But still, probably no

Piazza - I hope so, hes a great catcher and an amazing hitter, very talented

Larry Walker - I would like to see it, but its doubtful

    Edgar Martinez - Unlikely

Craig Biggio - 3000 hits is no longer a guaruntee for the HOF, but he's in for other reasons as well

Rafael Palmeiro - McGwire deserved it much more than him, so i hope not

Barry Bonds - I have no respect for him, i dont think he'll get votes

Sammy Sosa - Good player, but hes been caught cheating as well, cork.....

Roger Clemens - His steroid rumors are not as big, he will most likely go in

John Franco - Great player, not a hall of famer

Fred McGriff - Not a chance

Jeff Bagwell - His homeruns are only from how easy it is to pull them in astro stadium (same with craig biggio), i hope he doesnt make it

Roberto Alomar - Hard to say, i wouldnt think so

David Cone - Good player, not a hall of famer

    Bernie Williams - No

    Kenny Loften - No

David Wells - Hes got a chance but doubtfull

    Mike Piazza - yes

Larry Walker - Unfortunetely no, but should be boarderline.

Edgar Martinez - Didn't get enough hits and DH all of his career, but beloved in Seattle.

    Biggio - first ballot

    Rickey Henderson - first ballot

Palmeiro - No steroid guy will ever get in.

Bonds - No steroid guy will ever get in.

Sosa - No steroid guy will ever get in.

Clemens - No steroid guy will ever get in.

John Franco - Won't last past the first ballot but check out his lifetime ERA, which is far more impressive than saves.

McGriff - Absolutely will, not on first ballot but bet the house, he's in.

Bagwell - No steroid guy will ever get in.

Roberto Alomar - Possible first ballot but guaranteed HOFer, not sure where you went south on this one. One of the greatest second basement ever.

    David Cone - no

    Bernie Williams - no

    Kenny Lofton - no

David Wells - Won't last past the first ballot. I'm baffled anyone thinks this guy is remotely a HOFer. Take a look at his ERA. Great run support, never won a major award, super high era and I believe only one 20 win season. He's got a perfect game but that ain't enough. The guys you compare him to are way way better, he's not comparible to those guys in the least.

Mike Piazza - YES (no crap, Sherlock)

Larry Walker - it'll take a few years, but YES

Edgar Martinez - YES, made the DH what it should be

Biggio - YES, just for 3000 hits

Rickey Henderson - YES, not just for hits but for breaking just about every stealing and runs scored record there is or will be

Palmeiro - NO, just for the steroids, like McGwire

Bonds - NO, because of the steroids

Sosa - YES, I truly believe Sosa is clean (corked bats not included)

Clemens - NO, shocker, but steroid controversy ruined it for him

John Franco - Maybe, because of how long he worked, but still NO

McGriff - Ooooh, tough one. I'd say YES personally, but it'll take a while for the writers to decide the same. (No steroids, dude)

Bagwell - YES, despite having a shot at 500 home runs getting cut off. (How DARE you accuse him of steroids!)

Roberto Alomar - Very close, but NO

David Cone - NO, didn't do enough

    Bernie Williams - Mmmmm... NO

    Kenny Lofton - NO

    David Wells - Yech... NO

Piazza- yes, but not on the first ballot

    Walker- ditto

    Martinez-yes as a senior player

Biggio-too good a player at too many positions to not get in

    Henderson-yes

Palmerio-i have a better chance of getting in the him

    Bonds- no

Sosa- no, too many bad years at the end

Clemens- too many bad revelations here lately

Franco- yes, but several years down the road

Mcgriff- no, has been out of the public eye for far too long, and didn't have a gret relationship with the media

Bagwell- the last two years of injury will decide, but i say yes

Alomar- he will always be remembered for the spitting incident, no he will not get in

Cone- not a friend of the media, so no

Williams- yes. Yankees always get in.

Lofton- too good for too long not to get in

Wells- one of the best pitchers not to get to 300, but run support cost him more than bad pitching. He will get in.
