What do you think..American Idol ?

I kind of have mixed feelings about Jason. He doesn't really seem to be trying anymore. Like, starting off,he was one of the frontrunners who was consistant every week and gave some amazing performances like "Hallelujah" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", but now when it's getting down to the wire and he should be pushing harder than ever, lately,he's been kind of slacking off. I'm hoping it's just nerves, though, that everything's just really hitting him now because it's getting down to the wire or he's feeling intimidated by his competition,or something. Like he wants to win,but doesn't know if he will,so he's trying not get his hopes up too high,just in case. If that's the case, he needs to just have a little more confidence and believe in himself a little more. But it does almost come off like he doesn't want to be there and doesn't want to win, like he thinks he'd be better without Idol (like Daughtry),so he could do his own music and won't have to do an "American Idol" type CD. I mean,honestly,I believe he would have a much more successful career if he doesn't win, but I'd still like to feel that he's at least grateful to be there, since a lot of others who really wanted to be there and wanted to win lost their chance,maybe for him. So in the case that he really does want to leave, though I love him, I kind of hope he does,just so he doesn't take that away from someone who really wants it. But,hopefully,that isn't the case.

First - do not believe everything you read...did he say he wanted to leave?? No..so someone is saying what they think might be how HE feels...unless they have been told by Jason, it is only a guess or opinion

second - perhaps this is all a sociology experiment by some Texas A&M students....just to see if they can get an average singer - who happens to be pretty into the top - looks like it has worked so far...he is by no means a great singer, yet there he stands in the top 4???

Jason is gone. I don't even thinks he takes this as serious as David Cook, I mean just look at his performance last night or should I say performances. He never really pushes himself I mean yeah he has a mellow voice and not this big huge voice but he can still get his head into the game and wake up and smell the flowers, he has to work at it and look for some higher notes. If he would just practice and see I might be a bigger fan!!

People really don't have to get very mean and I admit my mistakes because some things I said were very bad [ no cussing involved, I am only 12] And I regret it because he has the courage to get up there and sing every night. I think people who were kicked off before him were better,

Jason must be trying to get Booted off, because nobody could be THAT bad... Jason and Syesha both need to go.... I dont think either of them should have gotten as far as they did... Syesha bores me to tears.... she has a nice voice, but she is just like a million or so other people.. Nothing special about her... and Jason is just bad.....

maybe he never expected to go this far. or just that he's being pushed by his votes and that he doesn't really want to be there anymore.

or maybe he just want to sing without the pressure of the competition?..he's a band member before he entered AI, so maybe back then he enjoys his music a lot. however, now, he might be fed up with all the fame and fans, making him less passionate and what-ever-goes with his music.

I never did like Disastro i think he cant sing and he ruined the chances for Carly and Michael who got kicked off before him and they could sing. The only reason he even made it this far is ppl only look at them and not listen to them so yes JASON DISASTRO NEEDS TO GO!

I hope he goes then. It's obvious he isn't trying. No one could be THAT bad. It is a slap in the face to those who regularly votes for him and the ones that went before him. I'd never by his CD now either. But then, he probably doesn't give a rip.

Never understood why all that time and energy is wasted on picking the next cruise ship lounge singer.

I mean seriously, where the heck are the winners of these stupid shows? Whatever happened to Taylor Hicks? Or any of the others?

Wow, I totally agree with you. It IS shameful. Actually, I think it's more disrespectful to the contestants who actually want to be there!! Honestly, American Idol contestants end up as flashes in the pan -- will you remember everyone a year from now? Heck, even a month from now? Who finished 6th last year? I don't remember!! So if he's worried about popularity or whatever, please. People won't even remember you.

well after Jasons preformance last night I think that article was right Jason didn't even seem to try or care
