You have some great suggestions already. I will add this......after you have done your research, check the resource below. Go to their travle section and use your research information to book your flight. They will pay you for doing so......not many people are aware of this.

My personal favorite is www.kayak.com because it is a mega search engine that will search not only airline websites but even many other travel search engines themselves. Give it a shot and I rather doubt that you will be disappointed.

always keep an eye on your local newspapers. sometimes lf you pick up a paper at a store you can find some good deals in the newspaper

check united airlines ... not sure what you mean by super cheap, but should be around $200
