What material should my Bridesmaid's dresses be?

My bridal gown shirt is organza over satin. I've heard that if a bride wears a satin gown, then the bridesmaids should wear a satin dress. I wanted to get chiffon for them cause I just think it has a more relaxed look than satin. what do you think? Will Chiffon look weird next to my Organza dress?

You can have your maids in whatever fabric suits the dress you or they pick out. If the dress that everyone likes is chiffon, then fine, if it's satin, fine, if it's charmeuse again it's fine. There is no rule that says the maids need to either match the brides fabric or can't match on the other hand. It's just a matter of what comes together in the end that everyone likes.

Satin is quite heavy and not everyone can wear it. I would go with chiffon.

I think you should stick with Satin, I wore satin in my sisters wedding and it I don't think it wasn't a relaxed look, very comfortable and pretty!

Whatever material you want for them will be fine. You are supposed to stand out not blend in with them. As long as you stay away from a knit you should be just fine.

    It should be cotton
