I think its kind of funny. I have a happy marriage, but I'm relatively submissive to my husband. On the other hand, my husband is extremely sensitive to my wants and needs. Maybe whoever wrote that thinks that an ugly woman is more likely to appreciate her husband and work harder to make him happy because 'no one else will.'

Translated it means if you don't want a wife that cheats marry a woman who is ugly supposedly she will be grateful to have a husband and not cheat. This song is sexist and rude. It insinuates that if you are pretty you will cheat. If you are ugly a man can deal with that rather than you cheating. my friend was beaten by her husband for many years because she was pretty and so her husband thought she was cheating because her father-in-law told his son the words to this song. She finally left him.

I agree with ED N. Beauty is only skin deep. What matters the most is what is on the inside that counts. A good wholesome woman on the inside, is prettier than the high maintenance b**** you see from her outside.
