Ladies I need your help please! Pedicure?

This is the wrong forum, but I know brides generally opt for pedis and mani's the day of their weddings...and I am going to start in a salon again soon, so can you give me your opinion of the following pedicure options and pricing?

---

"Basic-ally Relaxing" 35 minutes $40

For the person who needs a quick fix without the fluff! Starts with a cucumber aloe foot bath, and ends with an exfoliating white sand and coconut oil foot scrub. Includes cuticle treatment, and polish.

"Mint-suration" 60 minutes $55

A Mint Julep for your feet! Start off with a warm foot bath infused with mint leaves, followed by a brown sugar and mint exfoliating scrub. Last but not least a relaxing foot massage with tingling minty lotion. Includes cuticle treatment and polish.

"Tropical Fusion" 60 minutes $55

Enjoy the smells and sensations of the tropics! Start off with a coconut milk foot bath. Next, a homemade pineapple, sand and sugar exfoliating scrub. A cuticle treatment using coconut oil follows,

Update:

along with a mango-coconut foot massage. Includes polish.

"Sizzling Saturday Night!" 75 minutes $65

Planning a night out on the town? Start the evening off right with a bubbly foot bath and sugary foot scrub infused with champagne. Your feet will be ready to hit the dance floor after a ten minute foot mask and Vanilla Shimmer foot massage! Lastly, doll your toes up with either a gold or platinum shimmer over the polish of your choice. Includes cuticle treatment.

“Man-i-Cure” 30 minutes $25

No frills here! Get the “man hands” under control with a refreshing mint exfoliating scrub, followed by cuticle treatment and nail shaping. Finally you can walk out the door with freshly buffed nails. Perfect for a busy man, or woman, on the go!

Update 2:

Note: I do not have a fancy pedicure chair with the jetted footbath, etc. But I do have a very comfortable chair and will serve a small plate of themed treats...like mint-chocolates with the Mintsuration, etc.

Update 3:

The salon is in Eugene, Oregon. The chair is actually a 1902's style barber chair that reclines and has a head rest. I think its going to be perfect.

Update 4:

You must be going to one of the "cattle call" places that put you in a chair and you are out in 40 minutes...where they don't follow most state laws and when you tell them "that hurts" they don't care. No thank you! The whole point of a pedicure, in my mind and many other females, is the relaxation and pampering.

Update 5:

I don't pay people to do my feet either, I would never spend money on something like this personally...but I know MANY MANY women who do.

Update 6:

Why would you think that polish isn't included? All the options clearly state that polish is included..and that is just generally par for the course when you get a pedicure.

I am a licensed manicurist....been doing nail for 10 years.

I think it sounds great. I am at a stuck up spa (hate it) and we charge $50 for basic pedicure and $30 for basic manicure. We take a hour to do each service.

I love your variety. I wish I had the option to do the same. Currently I am comission so that is a no go. I also plan on opening my own spa one day....been dreaming it for years!

    Good luck to you.....sounds great

Prices sound very reasonable. I love the descriptions! Very detailed. And you don't need the "fancy" chair. I like going to the Aveda salon for pedicures because of the atmosphere. You sit in leather recliners, feet in a steal tub, lights are dimmed, and soft music is playing. I'll take that over a loud, bright, tv blaring room that offered a massage chair.

    Where is the salon located??

Those all sound yummy and the prices are reasonable. You can go to cheap places (where no one is from here) but on your wedding day, you want something better. These sound better.

It all seems a bit overpriced to me, but it could just be because of what I'm used to paying in St. Louis.

That’s all overkill. You don’t need sand and mangoes and crap for a pedicure.

Last time I got a mani, pedi, and wax it was $50, maybe $60, and half that was the wax.

Im a licensed stylist..a nd those prices are really good.

    good luck to you. :)
