May I ask, how much extra an US troop makes when deployed to a war zone?

    Hostile fire/imminent danger special pay is $225/month.

    depends on your rank and also exactly where you are deployed in the zone.... the rank thing because with higher pay grades, you have more money in taxes taken away normally... in a war zone, you fall under Tax Free Pay which means, you don't pay taxes and you keep your full monthly pay minus little deductions you may have.... on top of that.. you'll make somewhere between 200-300 extra for danger pay/combat pay/per diem. etc. If you are a pilot, you also get flight pay which means even more money.

    It depends on the soilder's rank My husbands a Sargent and

    he makes about a thousand dollars more a month.

    they should make extra. better our tax money goes to them more and less for recruiters who might comfortably sit in their offices and tell youngsters lies by seducing them with materials and such.
