Obama supporters don't realize that the "delegate count" is nothing more than a guess. If you review many of their questions and answers here, you'll realize that most don't understand the nomination process or even basic civics.

You are right, but in the history of elections with the superdelegates, less than 1 % have ever switched to voting for someone else other than the person they supported at convention time. They do switch before, as many have for Obama, but they tend heavily to do what they commit to going into convention

It is like the electoral college, 1 or 2 usually vote for someone else or abstain, but very few vote against the will of their state.

Senator Clinton needs an absolute miracle to win now. She needed 71% of ALL remainig delegates before last night, meaning 71% of the remaining SD's and winning all six staes remaining with at least 71% of the vote. She did exceedingly well last night, but still got 67% of the vote, not the 71% she needed and the delegates are proportioned based on that.

She will not win, SD, MT or OR. She will win KY, though it will not be as big a margin as last night and she will win PR.

It is just not enough for her to wrestle this away from her opponent, barring a major revelation against him, which would constitute the miracle she needs. It just isn't going to happen.

Peter Visciosky, our Rep in Indiana chose to support Obama. Our district voted heavily for Hillary. Obama Pacs gave him 10 grand. Now thats the kind of politics that really pisses me off.

The superdelegates aren't supposed to endorse before it's all over. They're supposed to be the quote on quote "tie-breakers." The math is still there for Clinton, so don't count her out yet.

If they want the white house they better wait and see because obama can`t win the states needed to take the white house. I hope he does lose so the dnc will get there act together. As the lose again.

Clinton has the talent, to carry all states needed in November. Obama is all rhetoric.

If I was a super delegate, it would be an easy decision.

They vote for who-ever Soros tells them to vote for when they accept the cash he will give them to vote for Obama , that is my theory! Obama is the candidate with the most relationships with the DIRTY politians already!

Of course they can, and believe me they will. Look at how many of them have flip flopped on committing to Hillary upfront and are now pledging their vote to BHO. The flip flopping will continue right to the very end.

  • Yep, and he picked up 2 more just hours after Hillary won WV.

If you are implying that the SDs will change their mind at the last minute, well that is just wishful thinking and holds no logic. Obama is the man with the Plan.

    Done deal.
