What's your favorite hymn? I love The Old Rugged Cross. It's so powerful and moving. And Amazing Grace, of course.

Amazing Grace,
The pride, hatred, greed, lust, prejudice.... even the best of mankind is a sad wretch when compared to the ideal that man should be and the ideal demonstrated in Jesus.
Jesus loves me.
The old childrens hymn holds more truth than many will ever acknowledge.
It is Well.
After hearing the story of the writing of this hymn it has a strong place in my heart.
God Bless
Todd

I have so many. When I gave my life to Christ, I remember vividly the Mercy Me song, "I can only imagine." Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
I had the opportunity to lead worship with a bunch of Katrina survivors just one year after leading an LDS ward as a Bishopric member. I led the group in great songs like "Amazing Grace," "The Wonderful Cross," "Indescribable," and "Take My Life." Can you image what a cool thing that was, to sing praises to Jesus, actually leading people in worship after being part of the paint by the numbers spirituality of Mormonism for so many years? What a God we worship!

I'm not Christian any more, but my favorite hymn when I was growing up in the church was How Great Thou Art. I still smile when I hear it.

i've got faith that each and every person is entitled to their opinion and that i've got faith that that may not what God planned to happen, yet you're easily nonetheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. Its form of like asserting that folk who...think of cussing is okay are not Christian. it incredibly is ridiculous, i comprehend an outstanding variety of Christians who cuss! So i think of you're nonetheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. God will continuously choose you rather.:-)
