Well Texans think they have the best Chili in the country, and so do Arizonans and folks who live in Chicago and Cincinnati.
I'm gonna tell you the real truth about Chili. It's made differently everywhere you go. I love it all...hot or not. Let your taste buds be your guide.
Warning if you eat chili while visiting Texas understand that Texans are serious about their chili. If even one suspects that you like "other" chili, you may not get out alive.

They claim it is but since I've never tasted Texas Chili, I wouldn't know. I kind of doubt that it's the best, because people everywhere claim their state has the best chili. Let's just say that everyone has the best.

Yes, of course! That's what my Cousin in Texas keeps telling me. There is a canned chili by Campbell's Chunky called "RoadHouse Chili". I told my Cousin about it. Now that's all she buys. So, it must be good. I enjoy it because it's very similar to the kind of chili I cook from scratch when I have time.

I don't know about that. We have a chili cook off every year here in Richmond, VA. I think a Texas team has won before, but not every year. Virginia has had a couple of winners too.

It's a matter of taste. I'm sure chili is made in all 50 states. It's made in Canada and south of the border too. A lot depends on what you grow up eating. I like my chili. I learned how to make it in Calif. so Texans probably wouldn't like it.

I have never been to Texas but would love to go and try some of that chili. :-)

Everything is bigger and better in Texas. I like to be able to breathe after eating chili without being a flame thrower. I make great chili without destroying your innards. ;0)

I never had it so couldn't say, but I'd put my Florida chili up against it any day! Bring it on, Texas!

Their chili is good, but I have had good chili in lots of states. Just depends on how it is made and the freshest ingredients.
