Should I install Win XP SP3, or Vista?

For me all I can say is "Windows XP sp3" is just good enough than "VISTA"..Why????

Vista still has lots of Patches to do with it's system than Windows XP...

Yeah!!it depends also of what do you have in your Computer...

Consider first the RAM or Memory you have ...

Must have atleast 1Gb or more coz Vista is memory GRID ...

Or else you will end up FREEZING ...

Memory HUG Vista just Slow down your Computer if you don't have Lots of RAM...

Ok nice …fast of all u use right now Linux yes..windows XP bootable CD cannot recognize ur hard disk because u use Linux….u fast format ur hard disk by using windows 98 with DOS mode …if u need DOS command pls mail u will send u….Vista SP1 Is better than XP SP3.pls don’t do this if XP bootable CD not recognize it’s a request to u ok thanks

Linux will let you partition so you can have dual boot

Stick with the XP, it is a mature OS that is stable, Vista is giving everyone headaches still.. You will also find more software and hardware compatible with XP and it needs a lot less Ram and hard drive space.

It depends on the specs of your PC. If your PC has atleast 2Gig of RAM and 1.7GHz of Processing speed. You can go for Vista otherwise Xp isn't a bad option. For dual boot with Windows and Linux. Install Windows first and then Linux. Good luck!

Windows XP SP3 is faster.

use windows xp and then install vista transformation pack which will make your xp look like a vista.

i prefer Vista SP1
