Dealership FRAUD?!!!!!!!?

Question

I bought a car in October from this small dealership and we filled out the paperwork to get the title transfered. It's been six months now and we still don't have the title. We have filled out the paperwork four times now and every time he doesn't turn the paperwork in. So, we told him we were returning the car and wanted our money back and he doesn't have it. 

What should I do? I don't have a car (one that I can drive anyway) now and I don't have money to buy another one. I'm stuck at home all the time because I don't have a vehicle to drive.

I am in the used auto business and i am telling you to get a lawyer right now do not hesitate. This is the kind of dealers that give the rest of us a bad name.

the dealership should put a legal plate on the vehicle either a temp or dealer tag until they get the licensing corrected. some (most) states make it illegal to sell a vehicle if you dont posess the cirtificate of origin (on new) or title. most dealers dont pay much attention as to this because of the payoff involved in tradeins and lost titles etc... usually a new title can be applied for by the dealer and corrected in a short amount of time. you can be a serious thorn in his side contact the state and the attorney general that should get the dealer movin in the right direction

File a lawsuit against the seller.  Demand a full refund plus expenses.  That should put a fire under his worthless a$$.

I'd start with your Better Business Bureau and see what they recommend.  Best of luck!  That's awful.

Stop pussy footing around --- show up with the police --- He took your money and theres no title -- You dont own the car.... He ripped you off -----RIPPED YOU OFF --- WITHOUT THE TITLE YOU GOT NOTHING!!!  Title or money!! theres nothing to discuss....
