Who, without looking it up, remembers a Jingle-Jump?

Update:

It was from the sixties. And the Jingle Jumps didn't have a hoop, they had a little plastic heel, that you strapped onto your shoe and ankle.

Update 2:

You can see it here: about 2/3 down the page.

Buy, buy the jingle jump, the jingle jump, the jingle jump.

You fastened it around your foot and swirled the ball on a string and jumped over it. Kind of like jump rope with your foot. lol

    What's a Jingle-Jump?

I do -- it was a ring that went around your ankle, with a jump-rope like thing attached that had a ball and bell at then end. You'd swing it around with one foot and jump over the rope with the other.

Target stores sell an updated version -- I just saw them last week and almost bought one for sentimental reasons (and for great aerobic exercise!).

No, can't say that I have. I looked at the answers to see if anyone else knew. What year(s) was this item popular?

I didn't know what it was until I started reading the answers. My little sister had one of those, but I could never do it. I wasn't too coordinated! (I guess I was the brainy one! (lol)

I loved those things, did not know you could still get them. I think I will check that out for exercise too.
