buy new car or used car?
is it better to pay more and buy a new car with zero mileage or pay a lot less to buy a used car with over 120K mileage and why?
in my opinion... a used car are sold by owner usually because something is wrong with it... thas why they sold it... and they can cost extra money in the near future to fix here and there..
however when we buy a brand new car... we have to pay taxes on it where as for a used car we dont?
take in considerationthat i wont return the new car if i was to buy it already...

Dude, you are not limited to these extremes. Buying a used car is a great idea. You don't have to eat the massive depreciation that you suffer just driving your new car off the lot. Why not buy a used car with reasonably low mileage, say less than 60, possibly a car with remaining warranty. I'd avoid cars that had been rental or were leased. Instead used craigslist to buy a car dirrectly from its original owner (get the VIN number to check it out). Take the car to a trusted mechanic to have them give it a look, and finance the purchase through a credit union.

You can purchase a car that is maybe last years model or the year beofre which has very low mileage and still a full warranty at the time of purchase. This car will still be just like new, but will not lose thousands of dollars in value the second you drive it off of the lot. This way you pay less and get the best of both worlds so to speak.
Another thing is you can find someone you know that knows about cars preferrable a mechanic to look at the car before you buy it. You can also make sure you are not getting ripped off by checking what it is worh in the Kelly Blue Book online.
Finally, you can run a vehicle history before to be positive the car has not been in any accidents before and simply repainted.

There's a lot of good used cars...$3,000-$5,000 range below 100,000 miles...Most cars now a days can go all the way over 200,000 miles if you put good maintenance to it..Your opinion is simply wrong, as you think cars were selling by owners because of problem? Think. Some cars probably a gas guzzler, or not what the owner wanted...Lots of reason why people sell their cars. How about tired of driving the car for so long, or simply lost their interest and want a new one? Okey maybe there are some that sells theirs because of problem, but keep in mind that it could be a very simple problem...Lots of drivers now a days are not mechanically inclined, so if you take your time to find a good one, it is better than buying a new one...I am a mechanic, so I know what to check and simply know what type of cars I want to avoid...All of my cars are Buick. They are reliable cars and so far I have good luck driving them...So do some research before you buy, that's very important...good luck..

u are exaggerating now.
120k? no person int eh right mind would buy a car at that mileage.
2. not all used cars have something wrong..some sell them or trade them in to "UPGRADE"
we pay taxes no matter what honey.
new car...higher insurance...
less problems
used car...higher chances of breaking down....having something broken( spending that money just to fix somethings thats old) might as well get a new one.

You are definitely at two opposite ends of the spectrum. I would generally say that used cars are your best option, since once you drive a new car off the lot it has already gone down in value. Also, if you get a used car that's been taken well care of, then you're ahead of the game. Here's a great website for used cars:

get a car that's only a year or two old.A new car,you lose a 3rd of it's value the second you pull out of the lot.A new car,you do pay higher taxes on it when you register it,but a 2 year old car,the taxes are very low,and you still get a decent low mile car.

buy nearly new.. that way youl probably avoid high milage and the car will have already depreciated well below list price.

used, with less miles. I bought a car w/ 10,000 miles for half of the price new...there are jewels everywhere////
