Why was Sergeant Anderson was one of the 12 veterans denied a meeting with Senator Obama?
And like his fellow veterans, Sergeant Anderson would like to ask Senator Obama a few questions: Why hasn't he met with General Petraeus? And why won't he visit Iraq? And why would Senator Obama rather talk about meeting—unconditionally—with Iran, instead of meeting with veterans and commanders? America deserves to know.this is noy my question this is our troops question

Well, lets see.
1. Sgt. Anderson wouldn't give Obama a list ot the questions prior to the meeting.
2. Without those questions beforehand, Obama would not know what to say and would probably look like more of a fool than he is.
3. Obama refused to go to Iraq, even though McCain offered to go with him and hold his hand and protect him.
4. He is clueless as to how to deal with the military.
5. He is already back stroking on Iran. Now he wants a clear cut agenda prior to meeting with them. That way he will have his writers tell him what to say.
6. Obama is , bar none ,the biggest threat to this county today.
Darling J, you really need to check your facts. Obama only cares about Obama, He could care less about you. All he wants is your vote and then see where he leaves you. Its all "JUST WORDS" .

Great Question !!! ---Once again Obama displays his lack of respect for our Country.---Obama IS A COWARD who NEVER enlisted or served in the Military.--- The most recent military knowledge that Obama demonstrated was when he played Pac-Man as a teenager.---Obama is the Biggest Fool on the Planet if he believes that he can negotiate with TERRORISTS.--- Obama thinks Our National Anthem is " too war-like " & he wants to replace it with the song " I'D LIKE TO TEACH THE WORLD TO SING ".--- It's a good thing that Obama didn't meet with General Petraeus & other Soldiers because Obama would have pissed his pants if he stood too near to the big bad Soldiers.-- Maybe we can get somebody to take Obama to Iraq & just leave him there.

Judobigdog is full of it.
He didn't go because these veterans and soldiers will ask him questions that, when he answers them, based on his policies, will not make him look favorable to the american public. The problem is that the media would be all over this and Obama's answers will be heard all over America. His campaign would be finished.
Why can't Sgt Anderson ask him these things in person Judo?
Because he's (Obama) afraid to. He knows these vets and soldiers would expose him for the socialist wuss he is.

a million. He in all probability refused to furnish Obama a itemizing of the questions in basic terms before the assembly. 2. That way Obama won't finally end up looking like greater of a fool than he already is. 3.He refused to bypass to Iraq, even after McCain provided to bypass with him and carry his hand and shield him. (The Coward). 4. he's already back-peddling on Iran. Now he needs a sparkling shrink schedule in basic terms before assembly with them. That way he gets no surprises. using fact he won't have the ability to handle something he hasn't heard earlier. 5. He won't have the ability to stand to look like the fool he somewhat is. No ask your self there.

Hmmm, not really sure. I can speculate on a few reasons:
1. Can Sergeant Anderson email or phone Obama? Why does he have to meet him to get his message across?
2. There are many congressman and senators who have not been to Iraq. Going to "rock the vote" is a waste of money. If he went on official business and not to glad hand, I could see it.
3. Iran has the possibility of nuclear weapons. Meeting with the Iranians would be a major step forward at this point.
4. Maybe the Senator has a very busy schedule and is planning to meet with them later?
Just food for thought.

Source(s): Geez, I was just speculating. I have no idea for his reasons. I don't even like the candidates running. All I know is he is gonna be the next President. - claudiacakeLv 71 decade ago
Well, maybe he's afraid they will ask him about his Uncle Charlie, who joined the Navy to liberate the concentration camps in Germany.
Edit: To the poster below who thinks Obama should dodge talking with someone who opposes him. That, in itself, tells a whole lot about Obama. But moreover, how is he going to be able to talk to any other head of state, particularly those who oppose us, if he is too candyass to talk to our own citizens?
If they (either the veterans OR the Iranians) get him in talks, he will cry like a little girl. Unless, of course, you think he and the Iranians do NOT have conflicting ideas.
Edit 2: Oh, I see you changed your post. Thought better of it, huh? Or did you just "misspeak"?

Obama wanted to have a good relationship with Arab countries because he has roots associated with Islam.

Hmmm...
I think it's because Sergeant Anderson belongs to "Vets for Freedom", a Political Action Committee (PAC) whose mission is to help candidates—mostly combat veterans—who believe in achieving success in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the overall War on Terrorism, get elected to the United States Congress and other Federal positions.
Here's Obama's Record of Advocacy:
As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, Obama passed legislation to improve care and slash red tape for our wounded warriors recovering at places like Walter Reed. He passed laws to help homeless veterans and offered an innovative solution to prevent at-risk veterans from falling into homelessness. Obama led a bipartisan effort in the Senate to try to halt the military's unfair practice of discharging service members for having a service-connected psychological injury. He fought for fair treatment of Illinois veterans' claims and forced the VA to conduct an unprecedented outreach campaign to disabled veterans with lower than-average benefits. Obama passed legislation to stop a VA review of closed PTSD cases that could have led to a reduction in veterans' benefits. He passed an amendment to ensure that all service members returning from Iraq are properly screened for traumatic brain injuries. He introduced legislation to direct the VA and Pentagon to fix disjointed records systems and improve outreach to members of the National Guard and Reserves.
