what ever happened to the inventor and invention a couple years ago that had ocean water able to run a motor?

there are plenty of questions on this site about cars runningon water or air or green cheese and "THEY" have suppressed the invention...

and those that say they have the answer to a free energy source either dont understand physics or economics.

If you had a system that would run on water...or even boost gasoline mpg by 200%......you would have investors fighting like dogs to give you money and it would be on the shelves of every Western Auto and Napa store in the world.

People ask very frequently about "revolutionary" technologies that suddenly disappear or that were bought out by the oil or auto industry. They disappear because they were not revolutionary technologies. If there was some revolutionary technology out there, it would probably occur at one of the many universities across the globe and would get published in almost every science journal before a company could even attempt to buy out the process.

Could a person make a motor that runs on ocean water? That answer is probably "yes". However, how much power are you likely to get out of an engine powered by salt water? Very little. Water weighs about 8 pounds per gallon. I highly doubt that the motor would be powerful enough to even move its own weight. So building that type of motor is probably feasible, but would using it for a car be feasible? No way.

Many people fail to understand the laws of physics and the conservation of energy. The search for "free" energy could be related somewhat to the alchemy. You can't turn lead into gold and there is no such thing as free energy. The closest things we have are solar power, nuclear, wind, wave, and geothermal.

If I was working on an energy efficient motor, I'd probably start looking at a gravity and super-cooled magnent combo. Gravity to pull it down and the magnent to push it back up. It wouldn't be free energy, but it would be pretty efficient I think.

Basicaly that is what happened to the air car developed by daimler Benz, it was a car that produced electricity from a catalist that reacted with the oxygen and nitrogen gases of the atmosthere ( it was infact an atmostheric fuel cell) the electricity produced drove an electric motor in the conventional way, guess what?, the oil companies bought out Daimler and the idea was killed off in the same way as the case you have mentioned, but i will tell you this, the oil company will not have killed off the idea, and my bet is they are know looking to devellp these ideas so they will be ready to musle in when the oil gets uneconomic to get out the ground, that you can be sure off, it has happed before, and it will happen again, many grate ideas out there have been simply brought out by the opersition and never see the light of day, they buy up the patent from the inventor and in ruturn for huge amounts of money the inventor sighns over all rights to his or her invention, technical, interlectual property what ever and there is no way the inventor can use it further, they use top lawyers in duplicat, they do a water tight job.

There is no known way to use sea water as the energy source. As a means of storing energy or modifying energy maybe, but nothing in = nothing out.

The nitrogen + Oxygen idea is a little more interesting. N+O= NOx is actually an exothermic reaction (gives off more energy than needed to get it started). Plenty of N and O in the air. Hopefully no one will light a match, in case the whole lot goes WOOOM!

Fortunately for us you need a lot of energy to make the N+O react and the amount of extra energy you get out is tiny. This means we are in no danger of the atmosphere self combusting! Down side is that it is not very practical to extract the available energy from this reaction, after all the usual losses, you would end up using more than you could get out. mmmmm back to the drawing board.

Now why have none of those super wealthy mystery organizations ever bought out any of my crazy inventions for mega bucks? I have lots of them, all for sale.
