I have had many patients like this and I would say just cross the bridges as they come. You don't want to hear about peoples awful stories and worry yourself perhaps unnecessarily. Wait until the biopsy results are back and go from there.

Fingers crossed for a good outcome.

One of my cats had exactly the same a few years ago, she started loosing weight, the vet said it was her kidneys she was given medication and jabs, but her weight was no different, a few days later we noticed when she was eating she was sort of rolling the food around her mouth then spitting it out like it was hot, i took her back to the vets, it was a different vet to last time, she examined her and told me she had cancer, the tumour was under her tongue, she said it was advanced and that the only thing to do was to put her to sleep, she was 14, she was one of my cats litter of kitttens and i saw her being born, so it wasn't easy .I sincerely hope they can do something for your cat, as it was too late for my girl..

I had a brain tumor! I was in the hospital three weeks and out of school a month. Then I kept getting sick, so I missed more school. You car will most likely stay at the vet a few days, come home, be very tired, and just want to sleep a long time. Put the food in an easy to get spot so he doesn't waste too much energy.

The vets here have removed a nerve end tumor off a rear foot and a growth on his eyelid from one of my cats, he came through it all very well. The vets are very good at what they do, so with luck yours will do a good job and your cat will recover fine.

I have never had any experience with a cat having a tumor. I do know that not all tumors (growths) are malignant. We will hope for the best! Do let us know how puss cat is doing. ;-)

Although I do not have cats (allergic) I still think they are sweet. I do have dogs though and know how helpless pet owners get when their "babies" are sick. Bless your heart. I will be thinking of you and hope your news will be good when you get the results.
