Ferris is funnier. It also has the highest re-watchability. Plus it's a more broad minded script.

The Breakfast Club is a study of suburban kids. Pretty limited in scope. It's basically an "us against the system" movie. The first half is re-watchable, but when they get high, it's just repetitive and boring.

    Ferris ftw.

The Breakfast Club. It is a total classic 80's, teen angst film that has the best one liners (aside from Sixteen Candles). Ferris Bueller's Day Off was funny and more exciting, but, it certainly does not have the same status as The Breakfast Club.

Tough choice. I think those are two of the best teen movies to come out of the 80's.

I remember seeing both in the theaters back in the day, and I also remember that The Breakfast Club kept me thinking for quite a while about who I was and the relationships I had with various people in my life.

When I initially saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off as a teen, I thought it was a great comedy. As I grew older and, I guess, wiser, I realized that the movie had a much deeper meaning running through it than originally realized. I also realized that it is very much about Cameron's personal growth as much as it is about a group of kids playing hooky from school.

For me, I'd say that it's a tie.

Oh man what a choice - Ferris Bueller just because of the singing/dance routine on the float
