Challenge #1: Can you say something good about our political candidates?

The political discourse in the United States is incredibly negative, I think, because we have a twisted view with regard to argumentation. Let's try the opposite:

Clinton - An ambitious and talented politician who would make a fantastic national and world leader. She would be a very strong and confident presence if she were elected president.

McCain - He is his own man and would likely be a transformational figure for the GOP. His moderate views are exactly what that party needs. This would become far more apparent if her were elected president.

Obama - A brilliant rhetorician with an overwhelming charm that transcends mere leadership. Similar to McCain, he would be a transformational for the Democratic party.

I am proud of all three of our candidates. It's been a long time since we've had such a great group of people asking us to let them lead us.

Update:

I seemed to have mistakenly referred to McCain as "her." It should read, "he."

I agree. These three have ignited politics like nobody before them. Obama had really pulled the younger generation in and has made them interested in politics. Heck, I'm 34 and for the first time, I'm excited to learn more about how the system works! That's wonderful!

Hillary is tenatious. She doesn't give up or quit. Even if you aren't for her, you have to realize that that's an admirable quality to have. She's very intelligent, too. Also, it's obvious she is a good mother. Her daughter has grown to be a wonderful adult. No scandals. No 'incidents' to cause the media to go wild. Hillary should be proud.

McCain...I'm not a republican but I will say that he is a tough old bird. He survived being a POW, which is amazing. He also seems like a nice enough man.

I don't know what rhetorical skills have to do with being a good leader. Why would we need a bs artist to lead the country?

Hillary Clinton is a dynamic candidate. She has suggested viable ideas to solve problems which have arisen during the course of the campaign.

John McCain is the most progressive Republican to present his party since Barry Goldwater. He possesses many good ideas for solving our problems. He is an American hero.

    Barack Obama has charisma.

I agree that unlike most recent elections this year will not be a choice between the lesser of two evils, but an evaluation of two skilled politicians that offer talents in different arenas.

Obama, while green, has an aura of leadership and is an inspirational figure. His ability to motivate and energize voters is exciting to see and offers the potential for new policies to be introduced.

McCain oozes integrity. He is a strong-willed, experienced veteran who I would be proud to call President.

Hillary? Well she's not really a candidate anymore is she? She is a highly skilled campaigner and knows the ropes of Washington, unfortunately I don't see her using these skills for any purpose other than furthering her own ends.

Their foreign policies are actually very different. Like they say, the devil is in the details. They may both have the same general idea, but it's all a question of HOW they plan to carry it out. Just because they are both "very aggressive with their foreign policy on Iran" doesn't mean that their plans are the same.

I can say something good, but you already have.

Your point about McCain is severely underappreciated. If he becomes president, and de facto leader of the Republican party, it will be transformed to the good.

Clinton: Can drink anyone under the table.

McCain: Never complains about his war injuries.

Obama: Able to sneak a smoke indoors without getting caught.

Diffficult to argue with your comments.

I would add that Hillary has a great understanding of issues that pertain to all citizens, perhaps more so than the others. I believe that she has patience and empathy that the others lack.
