To err is human

to forgive, divine.

good question. One would think granting forgiveness would be the better - but god himself refuses to grand forgiveness unless we ask for it - and are we not supposed to emulate god?

Granting forgiveness without asking is the greater deed.

Granting forgiveness. The larger the wrong done, the "bigger" the person is for forgiving that person.

To err is human, to forgive is divine. Forgiving someone whether they ask for it or not is what the "bigger person" would do. It hurts you not to forgive, so do yourself a favor, if nothing else, and forgive the jerk.

Which is smaller?

granting forgiveness once and for all, never to do it again.

granting forgiveness individually, for one at a time.

Granting forgiveness.

Mistaking is human. Repeating the mistake is devil like. Forgiving is heavenly.

In my eyes, granting forgiveness. It takes a lot of courage to do that.
