"a million. Why, has the media portrayed Christians' involvement in Katrina alleviation efforts and not a lot athiest involvement if in any respect?" 2 motives. -The media just about by no ability portrays atheists favorably. -Atheists do no longer in many circumstances style communities of folk who're atheists. Atheists are in basic terms united of their disbelief; different than that, they're an extremely diverse team, and have no longer something to occasion approximately. somewhat, they connect communities like habitats for humanity while they like to do community service.. "2. Why might the media become attentive to such communities the comparable way it identifies different communities (i.e. Nat'l look after, etc.)?" properly, how else do you become attentive to an business enterprise whose common objective is bringing christians or atheists mutually?

Some of my Christian friends want to know how is it possible not to believe in anything....isn't there a void.

It's hard to explain to them because they could never comprehend not having FAITH....and that's what Christians have to have.

After awhile we call it a draw and move on to something else.

My Christian friends don't ask me anything about my atheism, nor do I ask them about their faith unless it's for the purposes of learning.

We operate on a live and let live basis.

My closest friend is a raging Pentecostal. We have far more in common than that one difference.

"Why should you be allowed to force your religion of evolution down my throat?"

"Doesn't (insert random medical oddity or really nice, beautiful thing here) prove the existance of God?"

"Why can't you just pray to let God into your heart? He would come if you sincerely asked him. Say this prayer, and you'll see..."

"Why are you persecuting me for being a Christian???"

"Why are you on R&S at all?"

    What's an athiest?

Really, I cannot find it in the dictionary ANYWHERE!!

99% of the time, bad ones that have already been asked.

Spelling errors, logical fallacies, and generalizations are common.

Really illogical questions much like this one...

Atheist = singular person who does not believe in the existence of any deity..

Atheists = a group of people who do not believe in the existence of any deity..

Their favorite is "Why are atheists in R&S?".

After that, they have about 137 different ways of asking Pascal's Wager...and that's about all they've got.
