I don't think I would use the word sexy. I would think that goes with asking someone out. Now if he "expects something" as a result of the payment, then I would say the oposite is true. He should do it, not expecting anything but a pleasant evening with the one he chose to spend his time with. Any other response I believe you should move on.

If your just starting to date him and he doesnt pick up the tab, dont go out w him again, hes saying your not worth my money, and you dont want a guy like that. you have plenty of chances to pay for stuff if you ever get serious lol

Depends on who asked whom out if it was you yes, if she asked you she wants to be the one to receive the benefit of the reward of the lobster dinner.

I like to believe that it's necessary, I don't like 50/50 until maybe the third date. If he asked you on a date, he definitely NEEDS to pay.

Not to sure about it being sexy - but it does make a good impression - and his actions show how much he cares about you.
