actors in multiple roles?
what are some (well-known) movies where (well-known) actors played more than one different part?
for instance:
Peter Sellars in Dr. Strangelove
(and of course Jack Nicholson did the same thing in Mars Attacks!)
come on, movie buffs - help me out here!
I think they are mostly going to be comedies. extra points for drama!
(except Jeremy Irons in Dead Ringers 'coz I already got that one)

Eddie Murphy has done it several times starting with "Coming To America." Most notably in "The Nutty Professor," "The Klumps: The Nutty Professor II" and "Norbert."
Peter Sellers also played multiple roles in "The Mouse That Roared."
Jean Claude Van Damme played twins in "Twin Dragons"
Mike Meyers played multiple roles in the Austin Powers movies.

John Rhys-Davies performed both Glimi and Treebeard the Ent in "Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers."
Kenneth Branagh & Emma Thompson played reincarnated lovers in "Dead Again." You had Branagh playing a composer and a private eye with Thompson playing the composer's wife and the amnesia sufferer the private is trying to help.
Then there are all those actors who played "The Man In The Iron Mask" and the two male leads in "A Tale Of Two Cities."
