Being new myself to Y/A, I never really thought about making too many adjustments on my Yahoo info...I enjoyed giving my best info/experience/knowledge to others. Then suddenly I discovered that there were others out there who use Y/A for other reasons, deceptive or injurous/insulting/belittling/cruel etc...you name it! I found that there were a few who were top in certain categories similar to what my answers were mostly responding to...I guess they felt threatened by me or whatever, but I learned having my Q&A's visible meant they were simply tracking me & making life miserable for me. Many call them trolls but there are also people out here who wish to compete obviousl;y & they cause grief as well. Hiding my answers simply allowed me to answer without 'nagging' from the weirdo's...or whatever one may label them. Those people I have also learned have multiple Yahoo identies out here as well... I do not, nor do I choose to compete... I simply wish to be of some help or guidance to those who ask...I want no problems out here, just feel good about answering & possibly helping another....but leaving my info wide open made me realize that someone finds that as a way to abuse. I have nothing to hide...& really would rather leave my Q/A open for anyone to view....BUT unfortunately the rudeness & mean ways of others force some of us to conform...I hope that helped you understand a little bit. It is sad, but for every good intention there lies someone~somewhere wanting to ruin a 'good thing'...that is life nowadays~

There are trolls who have their fun by going thru other users folders and reporting everything they can Many bogus violations are issued and the appeals process is a nightmare. It's much easier to have your folders private.

Yeah, FD, if you were that bothered about spreading your seed on the internet, you wouldn't be calling yourself Fat Duncan on YA but using your real name instead.
I rest my case.
