Any aircraft spotters online?

Hi guys, I love my aircraft, I am on aircraft videos a lot but its nearly same stuff.

I was on one site and it showed lots of aircraft around the hangars waiting to be fitted out for new airlines etc, there was a Virgin 747 partially painted, it was clear it was a virgin aircraft. Does anyone know of this site and any other good sites to visit.

I am disabled and stk indoors aslot so I spend hours on my laptop but the sites I use r starting to bore me.

Any good free aircrsaft tracking around UK airspace hopefully in real time?

Cheers guys

    Get really good with www.google.com...

You can type stuff in, and click on the 'Images' button to find pictures. If you want to be really specific, try typing things in quotes, and it will search for the exact string you have in quotes.

    Good luck.

Hi;Here are two sites relating specifically to Hurn airport,Bournemouth, there's a restoration firm based there working on post WW2 aircraft.

    www.aviation-museum.co.uk

    www.demobbed.org.uk

Most UK airports have websites dedicated to tracking arrivals/departures.Manchester and Birmingham for example.

For aircraft DVD's (Poss;videos),look at the Royal International Air Tattoo collection.

Red Admiral RA331,ten years of airshows.

You,ve probably already got Airliners.net so try planepictures.net as well. As to free tracking, I don't know of any. I am thinking of getting an SDS-1 though. At around £400, it'll give you real-time.

Pictures can also be found on Airframes.org and GINFO
