When will I be recognized for my top contributions?

Go in the category where you answer the most, click on the 10 best answerers, scroll down to number 10 and check how many BA's that user has.

Get in your profile and count how many BA's you have in that same category.

A reminder: top contributors in a category has nothing to do with being the 10 best answerers. Some users will be in that list without being a TC.

Top contributors and best answerers are upgraded every Monday at midnight California Time.

The orange Badge is not the same thing as being top 10 in a category. The list is for most Best total; the TC badge has more complex criteria which Yahoo won't tell, so people won't game the system.

They update things Sunday night/Monday morning (California time). But I've often seen complaints about problems with the category-based lists, or Leader-Boards.

Since the Leader things and the badges are completely meaningless anyway, there's no reason to waste your energy on them.
