Recurring Dream Meaning?

Both my parents have passed away and I inherited the house. I still own the house and it is rented out to tenants. I occasionally have a recurring dream whereby my mother thinks she still lives in the house and I have to explain that its rented out and other people live there now. I feel uneasy explaining this to her and also worry about explaining my mothers presence to the tenants. So what does this dream mean ? All explanations welcome !

Guilt in renting out the house? Perhaps a feeling that you aren't remaining loyal to your parents?

Feeling of guilt could stem from that you feel you are benefiting monetarily from your parents deaths.

What it sounds like to me is that you still haven't completely come to terms with the passing of your parents, obviously it was an untimely passing, and you're still in a bit of shock. It also sounds like you feel guilty for renting out the house, tying that in with the delay of coming to terms, your thoughts are manifesting in your dreams, as if your mother were still here she would ask you why these people are in her home. You have been dealt a traumatic event, and you will need to take your time dealing with it. You miss your parents, that is why you are dreaming of them, and being so deep into the dream state, your mind is basically playing a guilt game with you, you don't deserve it, but this is a very common happening when one loses a loved one, guilt because you have survived someone else. We are not always thinking about who we will out live, and even when we do, it doesn't make it any easier when/if it happens.

I had a recurring dream that my mother, whom I love and admire and worry about, would be killed by a careless mistake made on Her part. Upon later reflection I have come to realize that those were symbolic representations of the agony I felt for Her in her depression... and I worried for her. There is more to say, but I will let it go.

I doubt if she will show herself to the tenants. I do think it is anxiety on your part because maybe you subconsciously feel that these people shouldn't be in your home. She could also be telling you something such as she doesn't want these people in your home.

When my grandfather passed I use to have reoccurring dreams that I would have to explain to him that he was dead. My grandmother is a very money hungry woman and she use to dream that she was told that she couldn't collect the insurance money because my grandfather wasn't really dead

Ask for guidance. Before you go to sleep ask your mother to come to you in your dreams and ask her what she is trying to convey to you and your questions should be answered

IGNORE those that say your crazy or what ever,

It is normal for those that have lost someone close to experience what you are experiencing

I for one have experienced what your going through

    GOOD LUCK

Life is full of unfinished business and possibly you feel that way about your mother, try sitting down and writing a letter to your mother explaining the situation as I think if you do it will help you get on with your life. Perhaps you should consider selling the house and moving on otherwise try getting a bit of professional help as it might help, try bereavement counselling as it can be a godsend.

I think it means you miss you Mom and feel a bit of guilt about renting out a home that she used to live in to tenants.

No need to feel that way.

Have you seen the ghost whisperer?

    Maybe you should watch it.

Also, if you believe in Jesus he can probably help you with this situation. Just ask and be patient, and believe in him, and he will help. ... . . . It is more than an idea. He really does perform these types of things. Good Luck

Sorry to hear about your parents. Dreams are weird things and no one really knows what they are for or what dreams mean.

She might have loved that house so much.
