I bought a car in March, just made my 3rd payment, and yesterday I received the title in the mail!!?
The title says I'm the owner and there are no lien holders listed on the title. What is up with that? What should I do?

Some states let the lien holder hold the title and some let the owners hold the title. Either way a lien should be listed on the title. Is it a negotiable or non negotiable title? Even if there isn't a lien listed on your title, you still have a contract with the lien holder. You may just want to contact your lien holder.

I assure you that you have a duplicate title with a lien

Some states allow you to hold the title even while you are making payments on it. Whatever you do, don't stop making payments :-)
