over a week ago i sprained my ankle.. (read details)?
on thursday of last week i lightly sprained my ankle on the tennis courts, barely any swelling and mild pain, to walk or go up stairs. i iced and babied it because i had a USTA tournament during the weekend. i was hesitant about playing because i didn't want to hurt it more well on saturday it felt like nothing happened but i wore wrap and a brace and iced it after each match and took advil all day. i played two matches, each two out of three sets. i felt great.
sunday i came back and had to play for the consulation final and the girl one the first set 4-6 then i won the next one 6-1 and we had ten minute break then i won the next set 6-3. it was a very hard match and something about me rose above, it was just a tad tender during the match but my mind wasn't there. it was about a 3 on a 1-10 scale.
so i iced it, advil blah blah blah.
on monday it wass about a 4 and tuesday about a 2.5
i had decided to take two more days off to baby it and then i started playing wednesday and instantly

Okay you have way too many details here, you need to go see a doctor!

It's delicate. If you are young, it will heal quickly. If you are older it will take more time to heal. Go easy on it. Save something for the big match. In triathlon, we taper so that our best performance is the day of the big dance. I would recommend some action to stay loose, but you know what you are capable of, at this point just take it easy and mentally walk through what's going to happen the day of the Tourney.

I was told I broke my ankle and ....the hospital was wrong. I broke my foot sprained my ankle and tore ligaments that had to be set properly or I would have needed surgery....See a Foot Specialist !!!

i would try stretching it because babying it isn't exercising the foot and muscles, thats why your arch hurt, try lightly jogging every night and slowly start practicing again
