Would you support the USA lifting the Trade Embargo's on Iran and Cuba if it meant lower Gas Prices for you?
Iran and Cuba are Oil producing nations that could sell oil to the USA and could help lower Gasoline Prices if the Trade Embargos on them were lifted,would you support such a thing?I would,what's the big deal,those nations never threatend the USA,right now Gas Prices along with food prices are much too high for most americans,I'm sure most people would want this to happen,what's the worst thing that could happen?
Iran and Cuba have never threatned the USA,there is no evidence to support this claim.This may come as a shock to some people who only watch Fox News and listen to right wing talk hate radio.

I support your premise that trade embargoes against Iran and Cuba should be lifted. I support free trade between nations where individuals are concerned, NOT free trade where government institutes it by treaty. When individuals are free to exchange goods and services without any government interference it benefits not only those individuals but eventually nations.
I don't necessarily believe lifting these trade embargoes would help to alleviate the high price of gasoline in the US however. I believe government at all levels (Federal, State, and local) could rescind their taxes on oil which comprise approximately 20% of the price of gasoline. This would be a good start. Also, US government subsidizes oil companies and has agricultural price supports. These subsidies take away free entry in a so-called capitalist economic system for alternative energy companies to develop other sources for commercial use.
The worst thing that could happen if the trade embargoes are lifted is that there would be no trade, although I think that is highly unlikely.

Iran is our ENEMY. It would be immoral (and suicidal) to trade with them. I hope we have plans to take them completely out of play.
We don't need to do anything about Cuba. That issue will take care of itself eventually.

Both countries are ruled by dictatorships, one communist, one religious. Both those governments must be removed and the people set free.
