why do very few people use the spell check feature on YA?

Two possibilities spring to mind: either they think they can spell; or they can't be bothered.

I'm not quite sure which I find more worrying.

it relatively is extra a case of merely getting the final evaluate the time of, as long as that happens, maximum persons do exactly no longer look to care no count if something is spelled wisely. additionally, some people are so used to text cloth-ing on their cellular telephones which I carry mutually makes use of abbreviations, that it has a tendency to hold over while typing. Or, possibly some people merely form too rapid and choose to get directly to the subsequent subject they are doing without paying plenty interest to appropriate spelling.

Does anyone else find it annoying when people type their answers in slang?? I.e- "da" for the, and "wit" for with????

Not sure. Good question though. I didn't notice it for months, that's why I don't use it. I still forget that I have it.

I've pondered that very question many a time.
