proceed to apply alcohol around the backside of the twine. This no longer merely facilitates to dry the twine yet additionally ensures that the section is sparkling and sparkling upd to sidestep an infection. Use a q-tip dipped interior the alcohol with each diaper substitute. in case you start to confirm any discharge or if the section has an smell, touch toddler's conventional practitioner. No concerns, the twine will fall off whilst that's dried and is waiting. i could proceed to bathe the section for various days after the twine has come off. in case you have any concerns, touch the conventional practitioner, there are situations whilst the naval must be cortorized. cleansing the twine with alcohol and cortorization are competely painless to the toddler. stable success and congrats!

Clean your newborn's belly button thoroughly at once!

My own baby's cord stump fell off a couple weeks back, I cleaned it properly before and after it came loose and I have had no problem ever since.

I'm so glad it's off because that stump made me very worried!

Keep it clean and dry, if it looks a bit wet or weepy, keep using something like the cx powder you get in hospital but generally keeping it clean should do and watch for any signs of infection.

Clean after every bath and dry. Use a cotton stick and if need be if there is any puss or infection you can get some cleaning product from your pharmacist.
