Did miracles stop happening as a result of the invention and mass use of video recordings?

I've previously asked for examples of miracles - all were that some event almost killed them - then they were saved -

How does the body's ability to repair itself or modern medicine fall under the concept of a miracle?

Is this what the preachers say now - that antibiotics and bypasses are miracles - - - who buys that nonsense?

Well, now that we can't blame illnesses on demons any more, we had to change the preaching to fit what we *know* just *has* to be the truth.

    Ugh.

I am a living miracle having been saved from near drowning in a springtide well, the ocean and a pool. However, I gave my musical ability to God after a stewardship seminar. At that time, my playing the piano was limited to three fingers. Wax buidup almost took my hearing as I could hear about 3 or 4 out of 10 words on the telephone. God healed me one night, anointed me for service and charged me[for service] during a dream. I heard my ears pop and awoke about 3:00a.m knowing I was[and I still am] healed. In February 2008, I gave my music ability in service again and now serve as an organist at a small church.Everybody- even me- marvels at how much my keyboard skills have improved. It is a miracle; and all praise and glory belongs to God.

To your first question: It just makes them less believable because anyone can do special effects on a video, especially if it was a crappy camera which they are usually taken on.

I think they mean the discovery of antibiotics is a miracle.

    Peace be with you,

The short answer is no. Miracles are so common in the Coptic Orthodox Church that we have books filled with them.

For one well known miracle which was even reported in the New York Times please consider St. Mary's appearance at Zeitoun in 1968:

    For more please see here:

(Please be aware that being 1968 and in Egypt, these pictures are in black and white.)

    Hope that helps mate.
