NO. Anime and Mango and whatever you emo kids are reading SUCK. My girlfriend read this stupid deathnote thing cause all her friends are into it, and it's just ridiculous.

Read good old fashioned books that actually teach you something useful.

Try Pride & Prejudice, Oliver Twist, The Hobbit.. good old classics!

Code Geass is pretty good, I'm about to start the second season. Also, try Monster. Great animation and storyline, plus it should last you a while because it's got about 70 something episodes. It's an underrated anime. Berserk is also great.

Kabuki is my favorite all time comic . Its hard to find old issues but you could probably get it in a graphic novel. It has a female protagonist and most of the women I introduce to the series love it.

Check out the hatter M series. Its about a bad@$$ mad hatter coming to the real world to find Alyss. It is actually meant to be read in-between two books of the looking glass wars series, but Hatter M is still awesome even without reading the books.
