2 year old baby?
my little cuzin is sick :[
ok so a week ago he started having high fever and would not eat at all!
he would only want juice!
we gave him pediasure and he threw it up!
he also went to sleep at 6pm and wouldnt want to wake up the next day at 8am! he was so weak the poor thing!
so my aunt took him to the doctor
they took some blood out and found he had a virus so they gave him medicine!
now he is a little better but wont drink milk and his hair is kinda getting really thin and falls off a little. :[
im scared :[
well my question is... when they did the blood tests do you think they did it to see if he had like anything diseases or did they just check for like flu virus and "minor" stuff like that?
u think he should get cheked again ASAP?

I'm no doctor, but I think if he still has a fever, or isn't feeling a great deal better, and his hair is falling out, maybe his parents need to take him back to the doctor, or at least call them and see what they say...

when my son is sick and has a fever the doctor never does bloodwork so they probably did check for diseases which i'm assuming came back negative. but just make sure they keep the liquids to him and give him tylenol and motrin to keep the fever down. warm baths are great too. don't forget the much needed tender loving care...cuddles are the best thing

If he doesn't get better in the next couple of days I'd take him back. There are a lot of blood test that can be done. I doubt the doctor did all of them.

I would suggest you take the child back to see the doctors again let them check your child again, just tell them you are worried.
