Single shares? I want to buy shares of stock as gifts for my nieces, what is the best way?

Do they still give you a physical paper? Thanks

I'm not affiliated with them but Give a Share does just what you want....framed single shares of stock in several various companies.

Many use a company called moneypaper. They will not only set you up with single shares, but they will enroll those shares in a dividend reinvestment plan so that single share can grow into multiple shares

Yes, you can get a physical certificate. But you will have to request it from your broker. And the cost will be higher.

They do, but its normally more expensive than the actual price of the stock, because it includes framing and transfer fee's.
