What is the gospel?

The good news of salvation is for anyone who wants it.

This is a very good Q indeed, for if we know this very gospel then we can believe in it and be able to go to heaven (2 Thess 1:8-10).

In John 3:5 Jesus was sharing this very gospel with Nicodemus Israels spiritual leader, who did not have the foggiest when it came to be born anew. He thought like many leaders today that being born again meant a physical thing..or a works orientated effort.

But Jesus explained to him that the full and complete atonement for sin was His water baptism where all the sins were laid upon Him by His chosen servant John the Baptist and then He walked to the Cross where He was crucified paying the full price for them instead of us.

The Gospel is the true bread from heaven, it is the Word of God, as spoken by His Son Jesus the Christ.

The Gospel is the actual words that Jesus the Christ spoke, and the TRUTH shall make you free.

The Gospel are not the words of Jesus, they are the actual words of God the Father, Jesus never spoke His own words, Jesus only spoke the words God His Father told Him to speak.

The Gospel is the good news, that all can be saved, if they believe Jesus Christ came to save the world, all human beings, from its sin. Christ preached God loves all of us, and He (Christ) was to die for us so we would not die. Our bodies would cease to exist, yes, but our spirits, our TRUE selves, would not suffer the eternal fire of hell.
